Multilingual communication in Italian, English and French
Translation and interpreting for international companies
Documents do not exist in a vacuum. Fragmented management of language needs, switching between suppliers or automatic tools, creates a lack of continuity which your international partners will notice, even if they are too polite to say so.
During negotiations, language skills are only one piece of the puzzle. Success relies on a complex web of non-verbal, cultural and contextual nuance that only a human professional can catch and effectively handle in real time.
I am your single port of call for translation, copywriting and interpreting in Italian, English and French, making sure that you use the correct words, and the most appropriate.
When the stakes are high, just good is not good enough.
My services are tailored for international companies seeking not only a language-services supplier, but a strategic partner…
- capable of aligning vision, mission and brand philosophy across markets
able to interpret professional - dynamics and cultural differences between speakers
- with a decade of experience in high-pressure international settings and complex relations
- who they can rely on when the stakes are high
- who prioritises human intelligence and professional responsibility over speed alone.

F.A.Q.
What’s the difference between simultaneous and consecutive interpreting? When is each used?
Simultaneous – The interpreter works from a booth and translates in real time with the speaker. Participants listen to the translation using dedicated earphones. Due to the high level of cognitive effort, this service requires two interpreters per booth, who alternate approximately every 20 minutes. It is ideal for conferences and congresses. When the venue is unable to host booths, a dedicated workstation may be used with an audio-transmission system and earphones for listeners. For scenarios with only one or two participants, the translation can be whispered directly into the ear, without equipment.
Consecutive – The interpreter is in the room, alongside the speakers, and translates after each block of speech, drawing on notes taken. This is a longer approach but enables greater precision and interaction. It is recommended for presentations, interviews and meetings with a limited number of participants.
Business – The translation is done sentence by sentence, with limited note-taking. This is an ideal approach for commercial negotiations at trade fairs and in showrooms.
Can I request remote interpreting for online meetings?
Do you take on projects with multiple languages in addition to Italian, English and French?
Why work with a human professional instead of using automatic translation tools?
Does it make sense to always work with the same language professional?
How do you protect confidential documents and strategic data?
Do you only work in Bologna or do you provide services across Italy and abroad?
How much do technical translation, interpreting and writing services for international businesses cost?

As a guide, translation and writing services start from €150.00 for technical texts up to 500 words, simultaneous interpreting from €550.00 per day and commercial support at trade fairs from €300.00 per day.
